Conduct studies and discuss all fire service problems and promote the improvement of public and private fire protection.

 

Develop and stimulate fire related programs for progressive improvement of local fire services.

 

Encourage interaction with all local, state, and national fire organizations.

 

Encourage and assist local programs for public education in fire prevention and fire safety.

 

Propose and support sound fire and life safety related legislation at all levels of government.

 

Develop increasing emphasis upon professional qualifications and performance for this organization and the fire service of the Upper Peninsula and the State of Michigan.
